This delicious and easy granola is sweet, crunchy, satisfying… and completely guilt-free. Beat those sugary cravings and easily avoid those highly-processed store bought versions with this recipe. Topped with fresh fruit and almond milk as a healthy breakfast option, it’s sure to please and won’t leave you wanting anything else.

PRO TIP: Try adding it on top of a smoothie bowl or yoghurt for an equally delicious option.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups GF rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup raw, natural almond butter
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 300F. In a small bowl, combine the oats, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almond butter, maple syrup, and cinnamon. 

STEP 2: Process the pecans and almonds in a food processor until they are small chunks in size (or chop them by hand). Add them to the bowl, and mix well to combine everything.

STEP 3: Spread out in thin layer on a lightly greased cookie sheet (I used coconut oil). Cook at 300F for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown, turning half way through. Allow to cool completely before eating/packaging- it will continue to harden as it cools.

Note: This granola will last two weeks in an air-tight container on the shelf (I placed mine in mason jars).
